I became a window cleaner during the 2008 recession. While I was sat indoors worrying about money. My window cleaners were catching a tan in my garden and being paid for it. Although I underestimated the amount of hard work window cleaning is, I wouldn’t ever want to do anything else.
Not many jobs allow me to generate my own clients and provide a full service for them from sign up to payment processing. I take a lot of pride in my work and am always pleased to receive praise for it.
When the pandemic caused a lockdown, my friend Jason lost his job. I set about building up the route so that he can earn a living during this period. He has fallen in love with the business and is now my partner.
